Required Qualifications: B.Sc. Quantity Surveying or similar.

Job Description

Summary:

Ruwacon requires the services of a Bloemfontein-based civil estimator responsible for pricing, preparation and submission of tenders for civil projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Pricing of tenders: rate build-up and resource planning for reliable resources.

  • Obtain information from professional team regarding scope of works, etc.

  • Tender bid preparation, including method statements.

  • Construction programmes are overseen and reviewed.

  • Preparation of returnables: oversee and review.

  • Procurement of quotations (specialised items).

  • Finalisation of the tender document.

  • Management of logistics and arrangements for attendance of site meetings, obtaining of BOQs and submission of tender documents.
