UWC Department of Education - Bellville

The work covered by this document comprises the alterations and additions to the old Computational Sciences (Block A) and Chemistry Building and Laboratories (Blocks B) for the consolidation of the Faculty of Education departments in the new South Campus Education Precinct. The block A component of the project is predominantly the refurbishment of the three-story building, changes to the facade, and additions of a coffee shop, meeting room, and plant area. The block B will be for the alteration of the two-level building, demolition of existing buildings, new three-story building, courtyard infill, internal link walkways, etc. including associated external works generally, including all equipment, testing, commissioning, materials, temporary storage, protection of surrounding buildings, dust control, etc and cleaning down complete.
