Scope of the projectArrow

The Thembisa Special School project is situated in Mthatha in the Eastern Cape. The project scope comprises of the renovation of the existing school structures and the construction of 2 new hostels (Male- and Female-), a new kitchen / dining hall, two sports fields and a play area for the children. 


The Scope entailed:

  • 80(no.) boys hostel block – incl. hot water plant rooms
  • 80(no.) girls hostel block – incl. hot water plant rooms
  • Dining/Kitchen/Laundry Block
  • Staff quarters
  • 2 x Reception blocks
  • 1 x Guard/gate house
  • 1 x Refuse room
  • External works – parking, ramps, covered w/ways & signage
