It is an alteration and construction of a new office space project. The office space will be shared by the emergency services departments of Mossel Bay (Fire and Rescue, Traffic, Police, Call Centre, Neighbourhood Watch). Upon completion, the municipality will have a centralised facility to monitor and dispatch all emergency services.
The Scope of Works included:
- Alterations
- Construction of New Offices
- New Pergolas
- Sewer and Water reticulation
- Earthworks for a new parking area
- Stormwater Reticulation
- Electrical Reticulation
- Having had to adapt and comply with the strict contractor working conditions of the Home Owners Association (HOA) on the Golf Course estate.
- Constantly monitor and assess the risk of the golf club members and their golf carts in close proximity to the site.
- Minor dimension differences between construction drawings and actual site dimensions influence material quantities.
