This division of Ruwacon, managed by Gerald Le Roux, primarily focus on general building and repair & maintenance projects.
Our experience pivot around the following main scope of expertise:
Prisons, police stations, border posts, clinics, hospitals, schools and colleges, sports stadia (FIFA standards), rehabilitation of government institutions and buildings, magistrates’ courts, multi-storey taxi facility, Transnet train repair depots, military and police barracks, criminal forensic laboratory repairs and renovations of World Heritage sites.

RWC Infra, a division of Ruwacon, was established in 2012. This division is managed by Louw de Bruin who has extensive experience in civil contracting.
RWC Infra is focusing on mass earthworks, bulk water supply and sewer reticulation, roads and bridges, reservoirs, alternative energy sources such as solar and hydro power stations, railways and telecommunications.

Ruwacon Plant owns an extensive fleet of heavy construction machinery, trucks, equipment and vehicles. Plant’s personnel also ensures the optimal use of all company vehicles and machinery used on our projects nationwide. Our team includes a service component with competent personnel to maintain, service and repair our fleet.
Plant management ensures that the fleet is maintained in line with the necessary safety and legislative requirements of the government as well as our clientele.

The Scaffolding division started operating as a separate division for Ruwacon in January 2018. This division is in charge of the hire and sales of formwork and scaffolding. The primary focus is on the internal hire and management of scaffolding and formwork for Ruwacon projects, but are also supplying to external customers.
Our skilled management team is able to provide Ruwacon’s project teams with designs and cost estimates during the planning and procurement phase of formwork and scaffolding.

Established in 2013, our first housing projects were awarded in July 2013 in Mangaung - Grasslands. Since then, this division of Ruwacon has grown rapidly with projects in Dealesville, Boshoff, Bloemfontein, Kimberley, Soutpan, Hertzogville, Hobhouse, Ladybrand, Ficksburg & Reitz.
Operations were also expanded to the Eastern- and Western Cape where this division commenced with a project in Mdantsane, Mossel bay & Plettenberg Bay respectively.

Ruwacon Lesotho was involved in the construction of several clinics in the rural areas of Lesotho. Currently, we are actively tendering and pursuing opportunities for further projects in Lesotho and other countries in Southern Africa.
A fibre optic cable installation was also done in Botswana. The installation commenced at the Ngoma border post in the north of Botswana and stretched through the Chobe National Park as well as the Savuti and Moremi Parks, to Maun in Central Botswana, covering a distance of 320km.
