Mangaung Intermodal Transport Facility
This project commenced on the 27th of May 2009 in partnership with Sanyati and Ikaheng. The project consisted of the demolition of the existing taxi rank to make way for a multi-level transport facility to accommodate buses, taxi’s retail and office space. The following volumes of material were used in the completion of the project: 23 000 m3 concrete, 68 000 m2 formwork, 15 000 m2 brickwork, 1800 tons of reinforcing steel, 400 tons of structural steel.
